This day, last year-
MBICEM's Technoloy Club- MBITEC- decided to conduct a blog writing and designing competition on 31st August 2010. Under the guidance of Mr Srimoy Patra and Ms Shikha Kukreja, the MBITEC members were successful in attracting as many as one hundred entries from the students of the college. A full day activity, the Bloggers’ Day Competition, amidst many technological glitches, was highly appreciated by all the members of the MBICEM fraternity.
And this year-
Owing to the huge success that the competition saw in 2010, and the tremendous growth in the number of people taking interest to blog writing, MBITEC has decided to celebrate World Bloggers’ Day as an annual event at MBICEM. The details for the Blog Writing Competition to be held are as follows:
Date: Monday, 29 August 2011
Venue: Computer Lab, Ground Floor, MBICEM
Who is eligible: All First, Second and Third year students of MBICEM
Timings: 9.45 AM to 11.15 AM Third Year
11.15 AM to 12.30 PM Second Year
1.30 AM onwards First Year
Blog writing/designing topic: A political debate or a personal experience or a poem or anything you consider worth sharing; it is completely up to you to decide.
NO word limit.
Time limit per participant to write a blog entry and design: 45 minutes
Blogs to be posted on www.blogspot.com
Registration Deadline: Sunday, 28 August 2011
Please note that regular classes are NOT suspended on 29th August.
What you need to do:
1. Create your blog, if you do not have one, on blogspot.
2. Type your Full Name, Year, Section, Blog address/url and e-mail it to cyberclub.mbicem@gmail.com to register for the competition.
3. Just keep an eye for the confirmation e-mail from us.
4. That’s it! Now you are a part of World Bloggers’ Day Celebration 2011. Congrats!
If you have a laptop and/or a wireless internet data card, then please bring them with you on the day of the competition to the venue. And please mention it when you send us the registration details.
