This proverb means that a person is successful in a venture everybody praise him . the person who fails in life is condemned and depreciated by one and all. Nobody just pause to ponder over the fact that the two person may be having different circumstances to pass through it is wrongly believed that in all cases, man is the maker of his own destiny. There is a general tendency among the common people to follow others like sheep . if a shopkeeper succeds in alluring a number of customers to his sides many more are likely to suit , ignoring in general the quality of his goods and if once he succeds, he can reule the roost . fate and chance are the main things . even if shakes peare believes that character is destiny , solution to many problems even in his dreams lie in happening………….
So true...and similar is the message of 3 idiots – “if you pursue excellence, success is bound to follow."
